A Contribution for Iso/iec Jtc1/sc27 Np 19792 ”a Framework for Security Evaluation and Testing of Biometric Technology”

The domain of security standardization within biometrics lacks of a systematical framework approach for evaluation and testing of biometric technology. The international standardization project NP 19792 of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 Information Technology Security Techniques intends to fill this gap for the highly demanded field of IT security biometrics. This paper delivers a first contribution for the NP 19792 by providing the first steps to fill the outlined scope of the proposed international standard.
